Ms. Tiana Isaacs was appointed as a national Consultant for Trinidad and Tobago under the
REBYC III CLME+ Project in June 2024. She also serves in the position of Fisheries Researcher
at the Fisheries Division with over five years of experience in the field.

Ms. Isaacs holds a BSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Management & Biology from
The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus.

She began her career in the public sector as a Biological Research Assistant at the Fisheries
Division in 2019 and advanced to her current role of Fisheries Researcher. Her responsibilities at
the Fisheries Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries focus on fisheries
monitoring, control, and surveillance (MCS), including the implementation of a national MCS
systems and supporting the development and implementation of national policies to enhance
fisheries management.
