Ms. Nia Browne is the Consultant for component 1 under the REBYC-III CLME+ Project in Barbados. She is an accomplished Environmental and Marine Biologist currently pursuing an MSc. in Sustainability and Environmental Management.
Her professional experience includes serving as a Fisheries Technical Officer with the Environment Agency, where she managed projects on water quality, habitat restoration, and fisheries management, while fostering regulatory processes and stakeholder collaboration.
As a Project Coordinator, she showcased her skills in client relationship management, project execution, scientific proposal writing, and community engagement. Additionally, she gained significant experience in marine conservation as a Marine Reserve Ranger, managing conservation programs and supporting grant proposals.
Ms. Browne’s early work involved marine research, where she developed hands-on skills in scientific sampling, data management, and project support. She is also proficient in various software tools and certified in scuba diving, emphasizing her commitment to marine sciences.
